Her Silence Video

Before fashion there was illustration, and before illustration there was video. Her Silence, 2006, was one out of three art videos under the Landscape Series I directed back in college.

I wanted to explore myself by using objects that populated my private space: a mask and a framed photograph on the wall; a Chinese tea set on my baby grand piano, and a street light with blinking walking man.

I just wanted to see what would happen to your perception of me when I the subject, supposedly, could only be interpreted by the association I had with these objects.

I also wanted to explore this strange dynamic when the subject was stationary while 1 object seemed to be the commend of time.

Music is composed and played by my brother Shouriman1.
