Da FUK Christmas Tree DIY

My company asked me to make a Christmas tree and I was like " Da Fuk!?!?" As if I didn't have enough to work on! I'm a handbag designer not a Christmas Tree DIY-er or Pinterest-maniac!

In any case, being the good sport that I am, I sucked it up and grabbed a bunch of leftover hardware, leather strip, Swarovski sewn-on crystals, hot glue gun, and my good old industrial markers and set out to work.

Da FUK Christmas Tree DIY

Buy $12.99 Multi-picture frame from Target, and use the back of the photos that come with the frame to outline your own Christmas tree.

Outlining your own Christmas tree using black ink pen. By the way, don't forget that you need to draw the tree in mirror image, because you'll have to flip the papers to face the glass eventually.

Using Industrial markers and start shading.

Left over Swarovski stones, leather strips, buckles, and other bejeweled hardware from my work. Plus $4.99 for glue gun and 6 glue sticks from Target.

Glue the babies on!
Voila!
Total cost: $17.98
Total time spent: 45 minutes
Return of Investment: Considering I can re-use this every year, PRICELESS!
