About Stella

Born in CA raised in Taiwan, Canada, and Detroit, Stella Chang grew up speaking two languages and appreciating the colorfulness of life. Wanting to become a Manga comic book artist, Stella studied at New York University under renowned video pioneer Peter Campus and contemporary installation artist Kathe Burhardt.

At 19, one of her children's books
“100 Wishes” for cancer survivor author Reagan Lu was published and picked up by a Japanese fashion buyer, introducing her to the industry of luxury handbags and accessories.

From 2004 and onwards, Stella joined the fashion industry and sold her first handbag collection to Wakkou of Japan. Since then, she had the fortune to work for brands such as Gap Japan, United Bamboo, and Calvin Klein in product design and/or development.

Stella currently designs for Lesportsac Inc. and also works as the chief editor for ModaRévisé's fashion blog and Rambling Masterpiece art blog. In her spare time, she illustrates concept art for English 4 Formosa, an educational organization that teacher English to Chinese speakers.
